Is your domain managed by a third party provider and you want to transfer it to us? In this article, we will show you how. We offer the domain transfer to our servers completely for free, however when we transfer a domain, we automatically extend it for another year by our price list (this price also applies to domain extensions for the following years). The one exception is our Assisted Setup plan that includes the first domain extension and you therefore don't need to pay anything extra.
For the domain transfer itself, firstly contact our customer support or tell us that you want to transfer your domain while ordering JuicyFolio services (via clicking on the upgrade button in your administration).
Domain Transfer
If you want to transfer your .COM, .EU, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .NAME, or .BIZ domain, you firstly need to get an authorisation code that will allow you that. You can find this code either in the administration interface of your domain, or on request from your domain provider.
However for the transfer to be successful, your domain must be older than 60 days and it mustn't be locked against transferring (you can unlock your domain again with the help from your current provider).
After you get the authorisation code, send it to our customer support and then confirm the transfer by clicking on a link in an email we will send you. The whole process of transferring the domain to our servers should be finished within the next 24 to 48 hours.
